tumblr の良いところはいきなり始められるところだ。普通の blogとかだと「このサイトはどういうサイトなのか？」をある程度明確にし、載せる文章とかビジュアルのトーンとかも最低限は決めとかないといけない。ていうか、そのへんが曖昧なサイトはとても読みにくく、信頼性を勝ち取りにくい。

でもtumblrの場合、3日前に postしたコンテンツの多くはまるで受精できなかった精子みたいにどこかに消えていくから、あんまりそのへんを気にせず、サクッと始めて気に入ったらそのまま書き続け、違うなと思ったら軌道修正するということがしやすい。まさに“走りながら考える”のに向いているメディアなのだと思う。
